- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc inc = single crochet increase (2 sc in same stitch)
- sc3tog = single crochet 3 together (decrease)
Heart-Shaped Hair Clip Pattern
Step 1: Foundation Chain
- With 2.5 mm hook, make a slip knot, leaving a 20 cm tail.
- Ch 15 (this forms the base of the heart).
- Switch to 2.0 mm hook.
Step 2: First Row (Shaping the Heart)
- Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch).
- Starting from the second ch from hook, work:
- 5 sc (1 sc in each of the next 5 stitches).
- sc3tog (decrease next 3 stitches into 1).
- 5 sc (1 sc in each stitch).
- In the last stitch, work 3 sc (this forms the first curve of the heart).
- Now, working along the other side of the foundation chain:

Step 4: Third Round (Final Shaping)
