    Crochet Edging by Annemaries Haakblog.

Such a cute, pretty and simple edging.

The pattern is explained in both English and Dutch on Annemaries’ blog.

No matter what type of crochet project you are doing, this easy-to-make edging will come in very handy.

This is a cute border that goes on just about everything not only on blankets or afghans, although I love it most on a baby blanket.

It is little, delicate, and cute and is better if the fabric is thin.

The suggested yarn for this lovely edging is cotton.

    2. Eyelet Lace Edging Pattern by Allison Baker.

This simple crocheted edging is not exactly like eyelet lace but it is still beautiful.

Initially created for a housecoat, made of linen and inspired by Marie Claire Idées, this edging is actually very pretty and dainty.

A very inspiring and creative way to make your clothes look more expensive with just a little effort and money.

It is also beautiful on any linen handkerchiefs or napkins.

I like to think of them embedded in linen clothing and made in cotton or silk, it can create such an exquisite and elegant effect.

This crochet edging comes with a written pattern as well as with very detailed photos.

    18. Edging for a Giant Granny by Kimberly Pye

This pattern assumes you know enough to have already made the giant granny on your own. It also assumes you made the little shell things with three double-crochets (or what have you) and put 1 single crochet between each shell (two in the corners). I’m sure you can adjust this pattern to just about granny-square-making method you choose.

    20. Cathedral Edging by Leonie Morgan. Another great old pattern mirroring the triangle shape.

A great edging for blankets and throws. You will probably have to “fudge” row 4 (add or skip stitches) to ensure that you have a multiple of 6 stitches along each edge plus one stitch for each corner.
