Tips for the Done in One Beanie
- Go up a hook size for a slouchy fit. The pattern calls for a 9mm hook. If you like a bit of drape and slouch, try a 10mm — same yarn, completely different vibe.
- The faux fur pom is worth it. It takes 30 seconds to attach and makes the finished hat look like it came from a boutique. Totally optional but really good.
- For craft fair sales: Make a few in neutral colors — grey, cream, black — and one or two in seasonal colors. Those sell fastest. Keep leftover yarn in the same shade so you can make a matching cowl if someone asks.
