There are many variations of the puff stitch and they are all so distinctive and great looking. The texture this crochet stitch creates is beautiful and quite thick so it can be used successfully for scarves, hats, blankets or even purses.

The video tutorial shows you how to make the v-shaped puff stitch and a simple scarf using this pretty stitch.
The pattern is quite easy so it can be used by the most advanced beginner crocheters too.

Use a soft and luxurious lookng yarn so you won't get your skin irritated while looking great. The scarf in the video tutorial below uses a yarn that instructs you to use crochet hooks size 8-10, so keep this detail in mind when choosing the yarn for your crocheted scar

  1. Love the stitch and the lady doing it did a great job!! Next will try to duplicate it while following the video. I counted 27 chains to start but not positive. What language in, Russian? Size of hook definitely looks bigger than an I hook!?? Yes, would love written instructions.

  2. Hi it’s a beautiful blanket. I am a beginner and I am going to make this blanket. I am going to try to make this in king size could you please tell me how many chains I need to start this.
    Thank you for your time
