row 1: dc in 3rd ch from hook & across, turn.
row 2: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 3: ch3, 1dc in next 2dc, *2hdc in next dc, make heart in 2hdc (see video),ch1, 1dc in next 6dc, heart in next* across ending with 1dc in next 3dc. turn.
row 4: ch3, dc in each st asross including ch1 spaces, turn
row 5: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 6: repeat row 5.
row 7: ch3, 1dc in next 5dc, *2hdc in next dc, make heart in 2hdc(see video), ch1, 1dc in next 6dc* across, ending with 1dc in next 7dc, turn.
row 8: ch3, dc in each st asross including ch1 spaces, turn.
row 9: dc in each dc across, turn.
row 10: repeat row 9.
row 11: repeat from row 3 onwards to increase the length as long as you want.

hdc – half double crochet
tr – treble crochet
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
