i love the coffee cup coaster but am confused on row 13. It DC,
I am confused on row 13 on the coffee cup coaster. It says DC,HDC,SC in next 8, HDC, DC. I do not know what you mean in next 8. Next 8 what?

This is from Sarah’s site:”She means DC in the first stitch. HDC in the second stitch. SC in the next 8 stitches. HDC in the 11th stitch. DC in the 12th sitch. “. Hope it helps!

Just in.each stitch one dc in first stitch 1 hdc in second.stitch etc. To the 8th stitch
And then in the ninth stitch hdc,10th stitch dc And then change color to brown and ch 1
Oops I was wrong.. Daily crochet wrote it the correct way in a comment to another person
