The first demonstrated crochet stitch is the Cast On Half Triple Crochet (co-htr) which creates a lacy, openwork fabric looking texture.
The second crochet stitch demonstrated in this video is the Insert Cast On Half Triple Crochet (insert co-htr) which creates a more dense texture fabric.

Video is a little confusing since they do not show the work starting from a chain stitch. Shows stitch once the pattern is established. Not much use to a crocheter who is not advanced or expert. Dawn
I agree w/ dawn, besides… it just looks like a small bullion stitch. need to know more info to do a correct trail pattern.
