You'll love this Bubbles Baby Blanket stitch, it creates such an absolutely awesome texture and can be used for dishcloths too or even bigger blankets.

Materials (for this blanket) (29 x 32)

14 ounces worsted weight yarn (I used 7 ounces yellow and 7 ounces white-Pound of Love)
N hook (9.0 mm)
Blunt needle for weaving in edges.

Pattern stitch: sc-2 dc in same stitch

I used two strands of worsted weight yarn held together throughout.

Make chain any length in multiples of 3 plus 2

  1. Did it really only take a few hours? Baby shower Saturday, and the waffle weave I started last month is no where near finished. I only have a couple hours every night, to crochet. I’ll gladly go buy more yarn, to have a nice blanket like this, to give as a gift.

  2. SC is abbreviated for the Single Crochet stitch,
SC is abbreviated for the Double Crochet stitch.
You can look online or Pinterest for more info on different abbreviations. Don’t worry, you’ll get there!!
