Baby sandals are very cute. To design any type of shoes for babies it takes talent and passion and love for the little feet. Bethany, the founder of Whistle and Ivy has all of them. She creates beautiful crochet shoe patterns for the little ones, baby and toddler. There are many truly awesome patterns on her blog and for this article I selected five. You get the video tutorial and the written pattern for all of them.

5 Flip Flops, Sandals And Other Cute Crochet Booties For Little Feet

1. Baby Flip Flops

Learn how o crochet a tiny pair of crochet baby strap flip-flops with Bethany of Whistle and Ivy. She has a variety of flip flops, sandals and other cute crochet booties for little feet on her site. The first featured pattern is this beautiful baby  flip flops pattern for the very little ones.

Since I love baby shoes, and I love designing baby shoes, I knew I needed to get on a new summer pattern for those little feet! These crochet baby strap flip-flops are a win!

Crochet Bootie Sole

Crochet a basic bootie sole with this pattern. All my patterns use the same sole, so if you are having trouble, this video might help you! This is 3-6 Months size, using a Size F hook. This sole is the first 3 steps to any of my bootie patterns. You can find the written patterns here.

2. Baby Boat Booties

Make these adorable crochet baby booties! These are size 3-6 months. You can find 3 other sizes in the written pattern found here.

These baby boat shoes are perfect for a baby boy or girl.  I originally wrote the pattern as a boy’s shoe pattern, (there needs to be more boys stuff!) but the aqua and coral ones are girly and cute, too.

With summer almost here, having a few pairs of sandals and booties for the little ones is almost mandatory, although sometimes it may mean lots of money. But if you\'re a crocheter, you\'re gifted, there are so many beautiful patterns you can use to make lots of awesome sandals and booties for little feet in just a couple of hours and with very little money too. So here are, for your inspiration 5 cute crochet pattern for booties and sandals with video tutorial and written pattern too. All 5, courtesy of Bethany, the founder of Whistle and Ivy.

3. Little Dot Mary Janes Pattern

This pattern is very simple and only takes about an hour to make up a pair. They are crocheted in the round and work up real quick.

4. Bitty Bow Baby Sandals

Sandals are really fun and easy to make. These are no exception! There is a bit of construction work, but I included a full video tutorial(my pattern-writing skills are developing, so bear with my older patterns). Hopefully you can work a couple pairs up before autumn comes!

5. Monk Strap Baby Booties

Here is another adorable crochet booties pattern , initially written for boys. The truth is, little feet , when very little, they all look the same. Petites and adorable! No wonder, this pattern, like all the others, fits little girls feet too! Of course, in the right colors!

I definitely wrote this pattern for boys to begin with, but I soon realized they are pretty darn cute for girls as well. Change the colors and add a girly button, and they are sweet and feminine!

  1. I can’t hardly stand to see the pic of these little sandals, made them for my grandaughter and she never got to wear them. But at least she is taking her first baby steps in Heaven now.
