What an interesting and beautiful square with an equally interesting name! Definitely a great projects for someone who has intermediate crochet skills and even knows some advanced techniques (which, by the way, are fully described and illustrated in the extensive tutorial).

The 12” version is an addendum at the bottom of the 9” pattern.

Skill level: Definitely intermediate with some advanced techniques fully described and illustrated in the extensive tutorial.

Tutorial: Accompanies pattern as a separate download, for the 9” only. Photo-heavy warning. (Source)

  1. Pat Wideman & Loretta Arabie Chase , please click on the In Like a Lamb, Out Like a Lion 9″-12″ Afghan Block words. The link is working, just checked it.. It must have been a temporary error. Sorry about that!

  2. Cheryl and Wanda, you’re right, thanks for noticing. The free link is not available anymore. However, I’ve changed the link to a different site where the pattern is still free but you will be asked to sign up with your FB profile or to create an account to complete the download. Hope this helps and sorry for the inconvenience.
