Crochet Waffle Stitch Throw Pattern

The crochet waffle stitch creates a plush and fun texture and it's much much easier than it appears. Waffle Stitch Crochet Blanket by Lu North Strong & Free is a great pattern that makes a beautifully heavy and squishy blanket.

It can be made with any size wool on any size hook so it’s all up to you to create a monster blanket, a smaller throw, or the warmest and cutest baby blanket.

Easy Crochet Waffle Stitch Throw Pattern

Materials:

worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver for the rainbow blanket and Red Heart Comfort for the monster blanket the original) they’re pretty much identical yarns.

5.00mm/H crochet hook, hook size doesn’t really matter all that much, I think I made one with a 5.00mm/H and a 5.50mm/I

yarn needle for weaving in ends

scissors

patience.
