This Triweave crochet stitch has got to be the most interesting crochet stitch pattern we’ve seen in a long time! Triweave by Elyse Yeager is made out of hexagonal motifs, joined into three separate layers, and attached using JAYG (join-as-you-go). This stitch pattern looks so unusual and cool!

Written instructions and a detailed photo tutorial are included in the pdf download by the designer so you can make a shawl in the triweave pattern but you can also make so many other projects using this brilliant crochet stitch. Materials
The stitches are all made with the same size hook.
If you’re diligent about stitching over ends, there won’t be too many to weave in. So a tapestry needle
is useful, but not strictly necessary – you could weave in the last few ends with your hook.
You’ll be cutting yarn quite frequently, so you’ll also want to keep scissors handy.
To make the shawl, use a 4.0mm hook (or size needed to achieve gauge 16 sc = 10 cm) and the following
colours of Plassard Gagnante:
• 954: 1 skein
• 907: 2 skeins
• 922: 1 skein
• 955: 3 skeins
• 904: 1 skein
• 927: 2 skeins
