  3. Rnd 3: Ch 2. [1 FPdc around the FPdc from the previous round, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc (work these into the spaces/gaps of the previous round)]. Rep from [ ] 6 more times. Join with a sl st to the first FPdc. (28 sts)
  4. Rnd 4+: Rep Rnd 3 continuously until the body reaches your desired height. Join the final round with a sl st.

Cup Rim:

  3. Rnd 3 (Finishing Edge): Ch 1. Working into the BLO of each stitch, 1 sl st in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sl st. Fasten off and weave in ends on the main body. (28 sl st)

Handle:

  1. Row 1: With a new piece of yarn, join to the cup sleeve and ch 2. Work 3 dc into the same/next stitches (based on placement). (3 dc)
  2. Row 2: Ch 2, turn. 1 dc in each dc across. (3 dc)
  3. Rows 3+: Rep Row 2 until the handle reaches your desired length. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Finishing:

  1. Position the handle on the opposite side of the cup sleeve. Using the long tail and a yarn needle, sew the final row of the handle firmly to 3 corresponding stitches on the cup sleeve. Weave in all ends.

Your textured mug cozy is complete!
