Here is a gorgeous blanket, made using the Never Fading Flower motif, with a combination of four different colors for the flowers. If you'd like to see this blanket in different stages, here is where you can check them. That's actually a blanket that' been done in pretty much a week-end during what Janet calls “my Olympic challenge”. The progress on that blanket is impressive! A truly goal achiever!
For my Olympic challenge, I will be doing something that requires stamina; speed is also of the essence but combined with precision; and determination is probably the key factor.
My challenge is to finish as many knitting and crochet projects as possible WITHOUT STARTING SOMETHING NEW!!!!! Source: My Olympic Challenge

Isn't this incredible? The colors work so well together and the speed is wow! Truly Olympic! In fact, that's the first time I hear someone talking about Olympics and crochet in the same sentence.
Below, is another project using the same Never Fading Flower square. I am totally in love with bags. This is such an important fashion item for any woman, not to mention how practical a bag is. I can never go out without a bag. And you know how they say, I have all the things I need and all the things that I don't need in my bag. LOL. So, back to this project, the Never Fading Flower Bag is a finished project and you'll have to register with ravelry to be able to see the rest of the details for this bag. Once you do it, click this link.
I crocheted 12 squares, joined them together, added 10 rows of single crochet on the 3 corresponding sides, joined two parts together. Added lining and a handle (both made of 100% linen). I’ve also added a few simple crocheted flowers.

Got inspired? What's your next project then?
One more thing: how about the square below? Changing colors at every round. If you're ready for something like this, here is a very cute and helpful photo tutorial on how to do the color changes. Enjoy!
