    • Any DK weight yarn.

    Tools

    • 4mm crochet hook.
    • Tapestry needle.

    ABBREVIATIONS

    This pattern is written using standard US crochet terminology.

    • Ch = Chain(s) 
    • Dc = Double Crochet
    • St(s) = Stitch (es)

    Pattern notes:

    • The finished size and the amount of yarn used may vary depending on the individual’s gauge.
    • If you want to change the final measurements, you can increase/decrease # of starting chains and # of rows until reaching the desired length & width.

    Instructions:

    Start with # of chains multiples of 6 + 5, here we start with ch 29.  

    Row 1: dc in the 4th ch from hook, dc in the next 3ch, *ch1, skip next ch, dc in the next 5ch*,  repeat * across the remaining chains.

    Row 2: ch3, turn, dc in the next 4st, dc in the next ch-1 space, dc in the next st, **yarn over, insert hook in the previous space, pull up a loop, *yarn over, insert hook in the same space, pull up a  loop*, repeat * 4 times, yarn over, pull through all loops, ch2, skip next st, dc in the next 3st, dc in the next space, dc in the next st**, repeat ** across the row, dc in the remaining st.

    Row 3: ch3, turn, dc in the next 2st, dc in the next space, dc in the next st, yarn over, insert hook in the previous space, pull up a loop, *yarn over, insert hook in the same space, pull up a loop*,  repeat * 4 times, yarn over, pull through all loops, ch2, skip next 2st, **dc in the next 3st, dc in the next space, dc in the next st, yarn over, insert hook in the previous space, pull up a loop, repeat *  4 times, yarn over, pull through all loops, ch2, skip next 2st**, repeat ** across the row, dc in the remaining st.
