How To Crochet A Cluster Stitch

3mm crochet hook.
Tapestry needle.

This pattern is written using standard US crochet terminology.
● Ch = Chain(s)
● Sc = Single Crochet
● Dc = Double crochet
● St(s) = Stitch (es)

● The finished size and the amount of yarn used may vary depending on the individual's
gauge.
● If you want to change the final measurements, you can increase / decrease # of starting
chains and # of rows until reaching the desired length & width.

 

Instructions

Start with any even # of chains, In this tutorial we start with ch 20.
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next st, *ch1, skip next ch, sc in the next st*, repeat * across to the end, sc in the last ch.

Row 2: ch4, turn, [yarn over, insert hook in the first space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops] (2 loops on your hook), repeat [ ] 2 more times in the same space (4 loops on your hook), yarn over, pull through all loops, **ch1, *yarn over, insert hook in the next space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops* (2 loops on your hook), repeat * 2 more times in the same space (4 loops on your hook), yarn over, pull through all loops**, repeat ** across the row until reaching the last 2st, ch1, dc in the last st.

Row 3: ch3, turn, *yarn over, insert hook in the first space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops* (2 loops on your hook), repeat * 2 more times in the same space (4 loops on your hook), yarn over, pull through all loops, ch1, **[yarn over, insert hook in the next space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops] (2 loops on your hook), repeat [ ] 2 more times in the same space (4 loops on your hook), yarn over, pull through all loops, ch1**, repeat ** across the row until reaching the last space, *yarn over, insert hook in the last space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops* (2 loops on your hook), repeat * 2 more times (4 loops on your hook) in the same space, yarn over, pull through all loops.

● Repeat the previous row until reaches the desired length.
Fasten off, Weave in all ends.
