4mm crochet hook.
Tapestry needle.

Abbreviations

This pattern is written using standard US crochet terminology.
• Ch = Chain(s)
• Hdc = Half Double Crochet
• Dtr = Double Treble crochet
• St(s) = Stitch (es)

Pattern notes:
• The finished size and the amount of yarn used may vary depending on the individual's
gauge.
• If you want to change the final measurements, you can increase / decrease # of starting
chains and # of rows until reaching the desired length & width.

 

Calla Crochet Stitch Instructions:

Start with # of chains multiples of 5 + 3, here we start with ch 23.

Row 1: hdc in the 4th ch from hook, *hdc in the next ch*, repeat * across the remaining chains.

Row 2: ch3, turn, dtr in the same st, dtr in the next 2st, work vertically around the previous 3dtr, *yarn over, insert hook in the space before the 3dtr, pull up a loop*, repeat * 5 times (keep all loops on your hook), insert hook in the next st, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through all loops, insert hook in the next st, ch3, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, ** dtr in the next 3st, repeat * 5 times, insert hook in the next st, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through all loops, insert hook in the
next st, ch3, yarn over, pull through 2 loops**, repeat ** across the row until reaching the last st, insert hook in the last st, ch3, yarn over, pull through 2 loops.

Row 3: ch2, turn, hdc in the same st, hdc across the row.


Repeat the previous 2 rows until reach the desired length.
Fasten off, Weave in all ends.
