This Blocking Method Will Make Your Crochet Work Look Fabulous!

Blocking can be somewhat intimidating, especially the first few times you do it. If you do projects that need blocking, here's some information you may want to know. This blocking method, used by Susan Carlson and detailed on her blog, is used to make your projects look fabulous and seriously professional vs. lumpy and amateurish. Read How To Wet-Block: making your crochet project look professional to find out more.

I find that it is easier to block the strips before joining mainly because they are smaller and can be pinned to the board. Although, I have also done a blanket in sections when it is finished. Either is do-able. I made a blanket called Arlington which is worked in strips. I blocked them before joining as well.
