  1. Thank you.
    This is the V stitch.
I have been doing it for quite some time and never knew the name..lol
Have no idea on the yarn.
I was lucky enough to have someone give me a box of miscellaneous balls.
Unfortunately there wasn’t any wrappers on most.
    Sorry.
It would make a beautiful sweater. .
Wish I would have had enough to make me a sweater and not my pooch.

  2. Can’t get the pattern–just pop ups. Would like to do this as squares to be hooked together. Tried a similar pattern at Christmas and the pattern had bugs. Still want to try this one one. Has anyone done it and had it come out beautifully? It’s pretty.

  3. Are you making a car seat covers the yellow one looks like it has the space to him to put the Buckle through I would love to have a pattern for that I’m expecting my first great-grandson and 5 weeks

  4. This was my own pattern.
    Here it is.

Doggie sweater small 9 to 14 lb dog.
Measure chest to assure correct size.
If needed larger add stitches on each end if smaller decrease stitches on each end.
    Measure distance between arms underneath.
    Seam is on bottom.
    Measure size of arms.

Chain 39 plus 3 extra ch for 40th..Turn
Row 1.. dc 1 dc in each chain total 40. Turn
This is where V stitch starts
Row 2 Ch 3 skip.. 1 dc…DC 2 in next space between dc.. till end . turn
Row 3. Chain 3.. continue V stitch till end ..Turn
Rows 4 to 7..Chain 3. Add 1 extra stitch on each end.
    Continue with V stitch.
    Row 4..44 st
    Row 5..46 st
    Row 6..48 st
    Row 7..50 st
    Row 8..52 stitches.
    Row 9 to 12 is 52 stitches.
Row 13 increase by 2 stitches. .one at each end.
continue to add 2 stitches in rows
    13…14…15..16..17..18…
    Row.18 is 64 stitches.
Row 19 is row with arm hole..
Row 19 is 64 stitches. Turn ch 3
Now this is where your measurement of the distance between arms comes in for arm holes…..
FOLD SWEATER IN HALF BEING VERY CAREFUL TO MATCH ENDS. TAKE THE DISTANCE YOU GOT BETWEEN LEGS AND DIVIDE BY 2.
    NOW THE TRICKY PART…
FROM 3 STITCHES IN..MARK THE DIVIDED DISTANCE…MARK WITH YARN OR SAFETY PIN…
NOW YOU NEED TO MARK 10 DC..OR 5 V STITCHS..
MARK FOR OTHER END OF ARM HOLE.
MUST DO THIS ON BOTH SIDES OF SWEATER EVENLY. .BECAUSE WHEN YOU STITCH IT UP YOU WANT ARM HOLES EVENLY SPACED FOR COMFORT.
NOW ..that you have them marked..
    Continue with row 20..
You start out the same as other rows BUT when you get to the marker you dc in that V stitch. .
From there you will chain * 12 ..the start back with the V stitch in the other marker. This is one arm hole..
Continue V stitch till you reach other marker.
Do the same as from *.. continue till end..
NOTE ROWS 19..20..21 ARE THE SAME.. COUNT…
Now this is where we decrease by 4 stitches per row..
    Row 22..is 60
    Row 23..is 54
    Row 24..is 50
    Row 25..is 48
    Rows 25..26..27..28.. are all 48 stitches. .
Now you are almost done. .
Tie off and work in all ends…
Now you can sew up sweater…
From row 15 for smaller dog and row 18 for larger dog. This is counted from chain row.
Stitch up by whatever means you prefer.
I do a shell stitch around neck n bottom for girl and just do a single crochet for male to finish off..
Now we add the elastic at the collar end..
2 rows from the end ..not counting the trim…
    Work through back of
The stitches 1/4 in elastic to fit comfortably around neck ..
If any questions please feel free to ask.
This is my my own pattern.
Still has a few bugs to work out.
If you have any suggestions to improve on it.
    Please let me know..
