This cat has so much personality and he poses so well, kids just love him and get attached to the toy quickly. Amineko the Crochet Cat, from Hello My Name Is Amineko: The Story of a Crafty Crochet Cat is a pattern I found on ravelry , offered for free by Nekoyama, the author of the book. The cute pattern is quite easy to make and is a great gift for everybody, at any age.
The original amineko cats were usually made of light fingering yarn for softness.

She’s on my list!! I actually have a tab open to it haha. I wanted to make it for Leighton (the cat lady) haha!
very cute, if its that difficult, maybe someone can rewrite it to be better understood!!!
I have the book and have made several of these for my girls. They love it.
This is a somewhat tough one. The pattern is in Japanese, with translation to English. Strange (to me) diagrams.
